How long does Amazing Goop take to cure?
It usually takes 24 to 72 hours for a full cure, depending on the surrounding environment. Low temperatures and high humidity increase cure time; higher temperatures decrease it. Use a handheld dryer set on low to speed up the drying process. A dryer should be at least six inches from the surface. Because GOOP dries by evaporating its solvent, the drying of two non-porous surfaces takes time. It may take days to reach full strength. In 24 hours, holding strength is sufficiently high to allow carefully removing the tape you used to keep the objects in place.

How to remove Amazing Goop Adhesives?
It can be a chore to remove this stuff. It takes 24 to 72 hours for GOOP to cure. Acetone can be used to remove it before it cures. Alternatively, you can follow these steps:
- The first step is to find a solvent. The technical data sheet for GOOP indicates that a few solvents are capable of dissolving GOOP. Gasoline is the most common. You may also try Goof Off, Goo Off, or Goof Off if gasoline is not your thing.
- Step 2: Wipe a small area of the bond with solvent to check the bond strength. Wait five minutes and use a scraper to remove GOOP. Choose a place that is not noticeable. Coatings and paints may dissolve in the solvent.
- In step three, apply solvent of your choice over the entire affected area with a brush or cotton ball. In case there is any gap between the GOOP and bonded surface, make sure to apply solvent there.
- The final step is to scrape any loose GOOP off. Add additional solvent if necessary, particularly in areas where gaps appear between adhesive and surface.
